Health Ministry
Cynthia Glamore
alvarez.erika@live.com

"Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." ~1 Corinthians 10:31

Health Ministry is the gospel of Christ illustrated, the message of God practiced. Without it, the gospel witness is muted; it is merely a theory, an idea.

The Personal Ministries Department provides resources and trains church members to unite their efforts with the pastors and church officers in the final proclamation of the gospel of salvation in Christ. The aim of the department is to enlist every member in active soul-winning service for God. Through seminars, meetings, special classes and other organized activities, the Lake of the Woods Personal Ministries Department endeavors to prepare members for this important ministry.

Religeous Liberty Ministry
Winston The
wmthe@aol.com

Religious liberty provides the individual the freedom to follow one’s conscience-dictated religious convictions, without outside interference as long as the conviction does not limit the rights and lifestyles of others and does not adversely impact the well-being of society.  Religious Liberty Ministries seeks to inform the Church of events affecting religious freedom through news alerts, seminars, articles, and the promotion of the Liberty magazine.  We also serve as a referral resource for individuals with Sabbath issues at their workplace.

Women's Ministry
Ednize Diaz
di6454@yahoo.com

God wants women to be in his service as well and lead others to His Kingdom.  As God’s women of service, our holiness and love for others should be demonstrated in our character at all times.  This character will bring honor and glory to our God.  As such the Women’s Ministry is  here for women of all ages to come together to socialize, have fun & most importantly to serve the Lord.

"We may do a noble work for God if we will. Woman does not know her power. God did not intend that her capabilities should be all absorbed in questioning: What shall i eat? What shall i drink? and wherewithal shall i be clothed? There is a higher purpose for women, a grander density. she should develope and cultivate her powers, for God can employ them in the great work of saving souls from eternal ruin."

"We may safely say that the dignity and importance of women's mission and distinctive duties are of a more sacred and holy duty than the duties of a man....Let women realize the sacredness of her work and, in the strength and fear of God, take up her mission." ~Welfare Ministry, page 145.2,3

Youth Ministry

Adventist Youth Society. Making disciples from adolescence to young adults.

The story of the Adventist Youth Society began over 125 years ago along a dusty country lane in Michigan with two young boys kneeling in prayer. Today that dusty lane has become a world-wide web of highways that links over 10 million Seventh-day Adventist young people in nearly every political entity on every continent of the globe. This story comes in every hue of the rainbow; it is filled with extremes of exhilaration and mountaintop experiences, as well as deep sadness and unfulfilled dreams. This is the story of God’s leading a fascinating army down through the battles of the great over arching conflict that is life as we know it now.

Created by youth for youth.

AY MISSION:
The salvation of youth through Jesus Christ. We understand youth ministry to be that work of the church that is conducted for, with, and by young people.

AY AIM:
The Advent message to all the world in my generation.

AY MOTTO:
The love of Christ constrains me.

AY PLEDGE:
Loving the Lord Jesus, I promise to take an active part in the youth ministry of the church, doing what I can to help others and to finish the work of the Gospel in all the world.

Pathfinders
Mitchell Alvarez
alvarez.mitchell@yahoo.com

For those who know, “Pathfindering” conjures up images of marching, camping, curious hobbies, bugs and bats.
Enlarging their windows on the world and building a relationship with God are the dual objectives of this club designed for children ages 10-16. Currently with nearly 2 million members around the world, this Seventh-day Adventist Church-sponsored club accepts any youth who promise to abide by the Pathfinder Pledge and Law regardless of their church affiliation.

The imagination of its leadership and members are the primary limiting factors. Activities encouraged range from community/civic service projects both in their home community and across the globe to nature and environmental conservation studies to camping and high adventure trips. Pathfindering challenges the unique talents of each member. Pathfindering is built on an age-specific curriculum of six levels along with approximately 350 specialized skill development topics covering arts and crafts, aquatics, nature, household arts, recreation, spiritual development, health, and vocational training. These often serve as a launching point for lifetime careers or hobbies.
